Vera Ćevriz Nišić is an associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of East Sarajevo. Her doctoral research involved the stylistics and syntax of the modern Serbian language. She trained at universities in China and Romania as a Serbian language lecturer. Her primary field of interest are linguistic and functional stylistics and language culture. Until now, she has published more than forty scholarly papers and one monograph. From 2018-2021 he was a visiting professor at the University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is teaching courses in Anglo-American literature and culture. His primary major of interest is the Victorian literature, as well as cultural studies and translation. His MPhil thesis deals with the relation of love and social power in the Victorian literature, while his PhD thesis investigates the poetics of the canonical Victorian novel. He spent a month at the University of Graz and shorter period at the universities 1. December 1918 in Alba Iulia and Poitiers. Until now, he has published more than ten scholarly papers, few book reviews and translations.
